Andrew Gaddi, DO · Board-Certified in Family Medicine · Diplomate, American Board of Clinical Lipidology
Dr. Andrew Gaddi is a Buffalo based family physician and board-certified lipid specialist focused on preventing heart disease before it starts. He leads Western New York’s only lipoprotein apheresis program.
Dr. Gaddi earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and completed his family medicine residency at the University at Buffalo. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology.
He cares for patients with very high LDL, inherited cholesterol disorders such as familial hypercholesterolemia, high Lp(a), statin intolerance and severe triglycerides. Many of these conditions go unnoticed on a routine cholesterol test until a heart attack or stroke. His goal is to find them early and treat them while it matters most, working alongside each patient’s own doctor.
He also cares for adults in primary care through Gaddi Family Medicine. A fourth-generation Buffalo physician, he follows his mother and grandfather, Drs. Mary Louise and Edwin Lenahan.
